ONE OF A KIND VINTAGE BEAD GUMDROP EARRINGS IN SPEARMINT & PINK

The One of a Kind Gumdrop collection is truly special. Made with the MOST beautiful beads a lovely customer gifted me from her very treasured bead collection - that she has collected over years & years

 

My lovely customer collected most of these beautiful beads in the 90's & early noughties. Some are from the 80's and were bought in an auction in 1999. Some were Janet Coles beads purchased in the 90's. And there is a beautiful selection of gemstone beads that were bought in various auctions in 2001!

 

A truly special & loved bead collection, of which I am honoured to design with. This is why many pieces are one of a kind and all pieces are one off designs that I won't be able to restock again. I think this really honours the history of the beads, and just makes these pieces even more special

 

I love using vintage beads, I love knowing that they have a story. But it's not often I get to know the story myself & get to tell it to you

 

The double drop Spearmint & Pink earrings are a one off design featuring incredible twisted pink clear glass vintage beads, with opaque white oval glass vintage beads. Paired back with the spearmint colour tops, these earrings feel fresh & cool. I love the translucency of the pink glass beads - they reflect the light beautifully & create a more subtle pop of colour. A super cool, chic & statement drop earring.

This pair is made with vintage & repurposed beads & hand sculpted (by me) clay tops.
